Whether you are wearing your grandmothers wedding dress, a friends gown or a custom gown, you may need to have some alterations.
We provide dress reconstructions, removable alterations, hemming, lacework , beadwork and everything in between!
The Process-
- First an email or a text (by the client) with an image of the dress being worn by the client. We can also discuss what would like to be done for the dress.
- An appointment is scheduled via email (by the client)
- During the first fitting, the client will try on the dress and fitting details will be discussed. An alterations estimate is given (all gowns are different in their materials and construction)
- 2nd, 3rd, ... fittings will be determined as certain aspects of fitting a dress have to be done before others (for example - often straps and bodice have to be taken up before a hem can be marked)
- Final fitting! Here we go over details for wear on the occasion and you take your dress home!
